Short bio
Jaroslav Beck is the co-founder and CEO of BottleCap AI, a European AI research lab he is building with Tomas Mikolov, the researcher behind word2vec. BottleCap builds efficiency-first LLMs: The most cost-efficient models that deliver the highest intelligence per dollar, powered by new algorithms and architectures. The lab also builds AI apps such as AI Scan, which detects bias in LLMs.
Previously, Jaroslav co-founded Beat Games, the studio behind Beat Saber, one of the best-selling VR games of all time (10M+ copies) and winner of Best VR/AR Game at The Game Awards 2019. Meta acquired the studio in 2019, and he led it within Meta until 2023.
